Falling Off The Wagon… and now, my BEFORE & AFTER Photos

Sorry it has been so long since posting. My man was away on work related stuff for over a month, and I sort of went into a bout of depression. I told myself I wouldn’t do it, but sure enough, I slipped back into my old habbits for a short time there while he was gone and managed to gain…. 6 pounds back. Ugh!

I got back into my routine, fired up the supplements (I had some fuco prime and hoodia prime and alpha lipoic acid left), and got to work. I am happy to say that I lost all 6 pounds and a couple more for a total of 8 pounds lost in 2 weeks.

Now that is motivation! Again, I followed the Body Prime routine ( go to www.cureyourbody.com/forums and type in Body Prime and you’ll find a lot of details on that diet/fitness program posted by Dr. Houser who formulated it.)

So I am only 2 pounds lighter than my last photos (since I had gained 6 back and lost 8), but I thought I would post the before and afters since it has been so long.

And now, here is the first photo I took when I started this crazy diet and fitness program. Look at my ugly handles … Yuck!

I don’t know why, but these photos make me look fatter than I think I look. I swear to you I am 2 pounds lighter than my earlier photo I took, but in that photo I look thinner and more cut. Huh….

For anybody looking to lose the weight as fast as possible, I do highly recommend the program I have been using. It is as follows:

1) I did basic exercises and cardio for 2 weeks to get me into decent cardio shape so that i could hit stage II of my fitness program.

2) During this time, I cut my calories, ate cleanly, and used Hoodia Prime by Nature’s Biology to control my appetitle.

3) I started to integrate heavier weights and cycled my calories, so that I would be low one day, then normal the next, then low the next, then just a little more than normal the next, then 2 days of low, etc. This kept my metabolism guessing. Hoodia Prime totally kept me from pigging out and helped with the weight loss.

4) I eventually got off the hoodia (my stomach shrunk and I was getting full quickly from eating 5 to 6 small meals per day.)

5) I started up Fuco Prime, also by Natures Biology, and it came with the Body Prime fitness and diet routine. That KICKED my butt. But wow, the weight comes off faaaaaast when doing that program with Fuco.

I had sort of a lousy weekend, and last night I just felt like pigging out and throwing in the towel.

Up until now I’ve concentrated on making my diet and exercise plan a life change, rather than a “diet” per se, but last night I was just tired of it. I’m just tired of watching what I eat, and not indulging myself whenever I feel like it. I’m tired of exercising when I don’t feel like it. I’m just tired.

I know I’ll get through it, but I definately hit a rough patch. Does anyone else ever feel like this?

Shoot, I forgot to post my man’s weight loss results, but thankfully one of you reminded me.

Here’s his latest photos. He’s lost nearly 26 pounds in less than 10 weeks. He’s got a ways to go, but he had a lot to start with, and he is doing great so far (Can you tell I am proud?)

Week 9 of My Quick Weight Loss Diet – I Added Fuco Prime To My Supplements

I’m on week 9 of my diet. I lost 3 more pounds this week and 1 pounds last week. I can only guess that the weight loss this week far outstrips last week due to the introduction of fucoxanthin (Fuco Prime).

My weight has really been coming off since introducing Fuco Prime, another product by Nature’s Biology that stacks well with Hoodia Prime. When I say ‘stacks well’, I mean that it works well when taken together.

Fuco Prime is a thermogenic, and the studies (yes, there are actual studies on this one) shows that it breaks down adipose tissue (fat). So the Hoodia Prime keeps me from getting hungry while the Fuco Prime cuts away at the fat.

I have been using it now for a week and I highly recommend it as a stack.

Don’t think I am not exercising though – I am working my tail off. But the good news is I have not hit any plateaus and keep making improvements.

I’m going to post my last set of photos in another 2 weeks. I should be at my GOAL weight by then!!!! Just 4 more pounds to go!

By the way, I only have one bottle of Fuco Prime which as you now know is fucoxanthin, but I might switch to a brand called ‘Pure Fucoxanthin’ by Ocean Botanicals. It looks to be the same stuff and it’s cheaper. Unfortunately, I dont see any reviews for the other product as of yet, so I will keep you posted on that as well.

Defending My Quick Weight Loss Posts

I have been asked why I focus my blog on Hoodia Prime. So let me explain that. First, that is inaccurate. I have written separate blogs (and they are linked from my main blog) on the Alli diet pill (which I think is a terrible thing for your body) as well as other topics.

But this particular blog is focused around Hoodia. I think this is important because too many people try too many things at once, and then they can’t figure out what is working and what isn’t working.

So once I had determined that Hoodia Prime actually worked, I decided to stick with it. I am going to keep sticking with it until I run out and then probably re-order and introduce one more product, or replace Hoodia Prime with something else altogether.

This is a science, so to speak. I am experimenting. You have to take things in small steps if you want to have success.

Week 8 – New Photo update on my Summer Weight Loss program

I think I have come a long way, and it hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be once my man got on the program with me. We took photos of him as well, but they are on his camera, so I will post them here when I can.

I hope this helps motivate some of you. I know photos of others have motivated me. My mom started the program after seeing how well it has worked. It’s hard to tell in the photos, but my arms are soooo much more toned than they used to be (they dont jiggle hardly at all now when I shake my arm.)

All of my pants are too loose to wear without some serious belt help, and since I have lost a good amount of rear end, I need some new clothes (I plan on shopping this weekend…. YAY!)

For those curious, my fitness routine revolves around the exercise and diet program that came with the package when I ordered Hoodia Prime and Fuco Prime from Nature’s Biology. It’s pretty intense the first week or so, but gets easier as time goes on. It’s essentially a low carb diet but with some really neat twists thrown in that make a lot of sense, and get the body tuned into a fat burning machine, just from the diet!

And then there’s the cardio and weight training that I do from my house, and that is part of what I loved about the program — that you didn’t have to have a crazy gym set up. You can use things around your house that just about everybody has. So dont use that as an excuse. It’s Friday, so I am taking a cheater day off to go have fun and relax.

5 Weeks In – Ran Out Of Hoodia Prime – Photo Update

It’s been 5 weeks now on my diet. Hoodia Prime rocks! I say this not because it makes us lose weight (because that is not what it does), but because it allows us to cut our calories without either of us getting hungry (and that DOES cause us to lose weight.)

Bad news though… We ran out of Hoodia Prime…. Good news through… I ordered some more

However, while re-ordering Hoodia Prime, I noticed that Natures Biology released their Fuco Prime product, so I ordered that as well after researching fucoxanthin and reading all the good stuff about it.

And while I have been making good progress, my boyfriend has also been making great progress. He’s down another 3 pounds from last week. Here are his photos:

I’ll post more of mine in a two weeks. I want to hit a specific weight before I post my next photos.

Yay, I start my long Holiday weekend tomorrow. But I thought I would post quickly:

I got a comment on one of my blog posts and instead of answering it there, I thought I would devote a little space here to answer her. Here is her comment:

Please be really honest, i too have been stung with rip offs, I have hypothyroidism, and have gone from 8st 4 to 11 st over the last 2 years, with out a change im my diet. Have tried every diet and diet pill on the market including hoodia gordinii but nothing has worked just gave me palpitations!

please, does this hoodia prime really work, and how much weight have you lost to date?

First, Hoodia Prime REALLY DOES work. I promise you it works. BUT, it might not work the way I think you want it to work. First of all, it’s not a thermogenic (creates body heat) or a stimulant (gets the nervous system going), so you aren’t going to burn extra calories by taking Hoodia Prime.

What Hoodia Prime does is it suppressed your appetite, and if you eat less, you should lose weight. Hoodia Prime gives you that little extra edge you need when you’re cutting calories, so that you’re not trying to eat everything in the fridge.

But if you plan on just sitting around and doing nothing all day and stuffing your face with oreo cookies while you take your hoodia, then of course you cant lose weight.

You mentioned heart palpitations – I think you got screwed when you ordered your hoodia. Hoodia can’t give you heart palpitations because it isn’t a stimulant or thermogenic. What you took either had other ingredients in it other than hoodia that were giving you those dangerous side effects, or it didn’t have any hoodia at all and instead had something unknown (how scary is that!?)

You wont “feel” hoodia prime, other than the fact that you wont be hungry. So if you are expecting to “feel” hoodia working somehow, then you wont, at least not the way you want it to.

I also can’t really comment on hypothyroidism and using hoodia Gordonii together, as I don’t know much about that. Sorry.

How Much Weight Have I lost So Far?

Yes, I am down 5 more pounds over the past 2 weeks while using Hoodia Prime and changing my diet. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot when compared to crazy claims made by manufacturers, but I am inching my way forward.

Here are two of myself, one from my 1st week and another about 10 days after (and yes, I started tanning, no matter how bad I know it is for me…. it just makes you look slimmer. There’s a 5 pound difference).

Keep in mind that when people lose more than 3 pounds per week, it’s usually going to be water weight or they are losing muscle along with their fat. I don’t want either of those. And I know I am losing fat and not muscle because the weight training I am doing hasn’t suffered. If I was losing muscle, then my workouts would be harder to do, and they’re not.

I want to go a full 30 days before I post up more photos, as it is hard to see much difference from week to week (as you can see in the above photos) even though I AM losing weight.

Alli Weight Loss – Do They Think We Are Idiots ?

No Thanks To The Alli Diet Pill

The Alli Diet Pill… the weight loss miracle drug, right?

I had looked into Alli when it first came out, but soon after the internet did it’s thing and people started complaining about ‘leakage.’

What leakage you ask? Are you sure you want to know?

Anal leakage. I’m not kidding. It’s one of the side effects from using Alli diet pills. That goes to show you the length women will go to in order to get thing.

The Alli Diet Pill website even advises that people who use this wear dark pants when using Alli and to bring a spare change of underwear to work with you, just in case. Folks, I am not making this stuff up!

This is just one of the KNOWN side effects. Who know what other side effects lurk in the future.

For now, I am going to stick to natural herbs like my Hoodia Prime for appetite suppression and soon some natural thermogenics. Oh, what… I didn’t tell you guys about that?

AHA! Well, just wait a while longer. I will be revealing something pretty exciting, IF it does what I think it will do. I am not going to mention any product names until I have tested it on myself (and my silly boyfriend who is ever the faithful guinea pig.

PS: Stay away from the Alli pill unless you don’t care about crapping yourself. Even Saturday Night Live did a skit on it.
